- FOR HARD DRIVE SYSTEMS:
- 1. Copy all of the files in this directory to one subdirectory of your hard
- drive.
- 2. Run PRINTDOC.BAT to obtain a printed copy of the user's manual,
- TRACKER.DOC.
- 3. Run SETUP to define your system and organization for the program.
- 4. You're ready to run TROOPTRK.
- NOTE: Printer definitions can be found in Appendix C of the manual.

- TROOP TRACKER Version 2.2 contains the following changes:
- a. The database structure has been changed to allow for quicker sorting
- of data within the various data sets.
- b. Version 2.2 can now support 100 different printers and contains im-
- bedded commands for most of the printed reports that uses this support.

- TROOP TRACKER Version 2.3 contains the following changes:
- a. An additional report has been added, TROOP CALL SHEET, which provides
- on one sheet of paper all relevant telephone numbers for a Scout or
- Scouter.
- b. User's may now view and/or edit the data in any of the various data-
- sets. Previous versions allowed editing of only the roster dataset.

- TROOP TRACKER Version 2.3c is a bug-fix for a reported bug in which Adult
- records were not distinguished from Scout records in the program.

- TROOP TRACKER 3.0 contains the following changes:
- a. Menuing structure has been changed to allow for bar menuing.
- b. A PATROL ROSTER report has been added in response to user requests.

- TROOP TRACKER 3.1 contains the following changes:
- a. Now automatically creates a record in ADVANCE.DBF if a Scout's rank is
- entered as part of the "Add A Scout" process.
- b. Now automatically updates ROSTER.DBF with the new rank of a Scout when
- advancement is entered during the "Update Records, Advancement" process.
- c. Has been updated to reflect changes to the Eagle Requirements to take
- effect on 9/1/1994. Will continue to assess a Scout's advancement eligibility
- for Eagle using pre-9/1/94 standards until that date.
